Re: Oh... it's wicked easy. All you need is a single adjustable wrench. Go for it.
i dont have to start changing pipes? how much more power would i get from this, any thing else that is quite cheap that i can do to get more performance from it? thank you very much for your help

From your response I'd say take your car to a qualified mechanic for the swap........
it's NOT easy unless you consider pulling your engine "easy". Unless you have the proper tools/space/time/expertise it's probably a job you'd want to leave to the pro's.
You should start by just driving the stock car. Then think about a chip. Take some driving courses, etc. Going Stage 3 (larger turbo's) is falling down the slippery slope.
Now changing your oil is a whole other matter.

What's your background, are you car savy and do you know your ways around an engine?
Plus, have access to all sorts of tools and equipments such as an engine lift etc.
This is not like changing oil or wiper blade inserts, you will need to know what you are doing to swap the turbos.

Use the Search button. Keep in mind there is a motor pull involved, but under all the smoke and
mirrors its a pretty rudimentary process if you have a little mechanical background. Are you buying a car with blown K03's or are you just planning on taking them out right when you get the car?

this has been discussed about as many times as asking what chip to get?? don't ask that either.
look under the forums heading and scroll down to search. also when replying to someones post type it into the subject line if its short so we won't have to click on it to read it. your turbo ?? it takes about 12hrs for a swap if you're going to replace it with ko4's it's about 2700.00 depending on where you source it from. The motor will also have to be pulled.

They're behind the glove box, just pop it off, undo the 1/2 turn fasteners that keep them in place..
and swap them. Done, it's a piece of cake, I did them on my lunch break from work one day.
