Clear bra experience? Impact on warranty?
I've seen a number of messages here about various clear bras, and it sounds like a good thing, but does anyone have any long term experience with it? How does it hold up after time and does it stay sealed? The claims on the websites are pretty impressive. I'm curious if anyone's had any problems other than a tricky install. Does it void any Audi warranties?
(I'm finding that in the absence of an actual car I get my S4 fix through this forum. I think it's beginning to interfere with my work.)

ArmourFend (877) 276-6873. pic included
I just had it put on Wednesday, so I can't offer you any long term experience. Their kit cost $550, and it covers a lot - front bumper, grille border & 3" of nose, side view mirrors, door handle depressions, rear bumper, including sides.
Here are two pics. They are huge, so I didn't run them inline:

<a href=http://131.107.68.28/a4org/ArmourSideRear.jpg>ArmourFend Lower Side Rear</a>
As for the appearence, I'd give it an 8. The line across the hood is noticeable, but not glaring. My biggeest complaint is that the material, while it is transparent & colorless, it is not perfectly clear. It's a bit blurry b/c it has some visual texture to it. When you touch it, it feels smooth, but compared to the paint, it's a looks "ripply."
On the hood shot, you can kinda tell the rippling effect that I'm talking about. It's not that they didn't put it on right - it's perfectly smooth.
My car's still in the shop - I'll post daylight pics as soon as I get it back. Also note - on the hood shot, there's crap there from the installation & just generally needing to be cleaned. It's not quite as noticeable now that they've cleaned it, but close.

Re: How about a website or a manufacturere of the clear bra..A little help if possible. Thanks
Just had it installed tonight. Looks good so far. The problem isn't getting the kit, it's getting someone who knows what they're doing to install it.
If you're in the Toronto (Canada) area, go to ChipGuard, 181 Woodstream Blvd, Woodbridge, ON 1 800 429 5967
They also make, sell and ship kits. With the Canadian currency exchange you will win big over US distributors.
