Codes!!
So as in a few other posts i had been complaining aboout my abs problems on my 2001.5 mt s4(abs, esp and brake lights coming on with three beeps and brakes locking up making the car unmovable until the brake pressure settled) so i scanned it for codes tonight with my new v checker pro and this is what it told me. Keep in mind I have the bosch 5.0 type abs module (the one with the brain under the back seat.
These codes are from the ABS electronics
-18057.P149: Data bus powertrain: missing message from ABS ECU
-16955.P0571: Brake switch (A) Circuit Malfunction (could be because i pulled the abs fuses? but i replaced them.)
-01422. Hydraulic Pump F.drive ctrl. -V156
18256.P1848: Please Check DTC memory of: engine ECU.
Any ideas of point of failure(s)?
