Could bugs (viruses) reside on vag systems at the dealer and therby be transfered to your car?
Purely random thought, posted without any further consideration. Not neccessarily a reflection of poster's vag, automotive or general knowlege.

Default No, viruses are usually transferred by key remotes. So be extra careful in parking lots

with other Audi/VW present...

Default for what purpose? when a 1552 gets hooked up to your ECU wouldnt the 1552 get infected also??

Yeah, the dealer programs the stock chip to make sure the car breaks expensive parts after warranty
