Continental Sport Contact Tires
What's the concensus for these tires? Are they noisy?, Do they provide good wet or dry grip? How is the treadwear?, etc. There's a great deal on them at the Tire Rack now since a new version is out. Please provide feedback.

They suck...
The 255/40/17 on my S6 hydroplane badly and one had a blistered sidewall at 3k miles for no apparent reason other than a long distance high speed run across the state.
General offered to replace the tire as a goodwill gesture for $98 plus mounting and balancing and I told them to shove it.
Several of the S6 owners have replaced the stock Conti's with other makes (including me).
Some owners have even given their Conti's away.
I am thinking about doing the same.
The Bridgestone S03 in 255/35/18 are as quiet or quieter than the stock Conti's.
Guess you can tell I am still pissed at general Tire.

I have them
When I got the car it came with a brand new set . I have nothing to compare them to. They are the Sport Contact2 version. They are very quiet, absolutely no road noise. They seem fair in dry and wet, but I have only put 1K or less on the car since purchase.
