So my buddy asked for my help in getting his Automotive Parts and Performance business off the ground a few months ago. He has 2 products that he is direct importing and was looking to carefully expand the line-up and eventually get to a full retail presence. Well I cannot "officially" be involved in another business due to Canadian Securities licensing (I am an Investment Advisor) so I am unofficially helping him out. My approach was simple ... if I want it on or in my car I will get the distribution rights !

So I patiently contacted many companies making inquiries. And am in, out and postponing conversation with many companies worldwide. BUT as of last week I became a distributor for a product line that I wanted badly ...

I AM THE GARRETT MAN ! ! ! !

As of last week I am the GIAC distributor (or more correctly ACS Racing is) for BC Canada. The only GIAC shop North of Oregon and West of Quebec. My 02 gets her chip next Saturday at Waterwagons (special thanks to the Matrix crew for helping our introduction to the line-up). And then its to the moon. We are going to spend lots of time with GIAC online via web cam over the next while learning product and such but I am pumped. What a great way to spend ones "spare time" ... playing with cars.

When we are up and running (hopefully by mid Aug we will be 100% operational on the GIAC product) I will post more about a special introductory offer to the AW crew. This is where my passion started and I know as well as the next guy ... "Its all about the toys". No idea on pricing or timing yet but rest assured I will post more when I know.
