Do Ottinger RE's (18"x8") fit the S4 directly (i.e. no spacers, re-drills, etc)? Any rubbing probs?

They fit perfectly! Rubbing will depend on the tire you use.

Default As Far as I know. I ordered them and they should arrive any day. No spacer required.
I had ABT A25's 18 x 8.5 w/ Dunlpo SP9000 235/40/18 and stock suspension and never rubbed. The RE's are 18 x 8 and I ordered 225/40/18 tires and plan to add Eibach Pro Kit springs that lower only 1 in. Shouldn't have any rubbing problems. I'll let you know after they are installed.

How much were the RE's? Do you know how much they weigh?

Offset is made for your car and the wheels require no spacers nor redrills or anything of the such. They are ready to roll! I can get you the rims you are looking for w/ Yoko Paradas 225/35_18 for $2gs shipped. I hope the info helps you out!
