Default Does it get better? Pirelli Nero M + S

Just switched out my Pilot Sports summer tires for the new Pirelli's this past weekend. Needed to go to an A/S tires because I got to be a responsible parent now and actually be able to pick up my kid from daycare in the snow. Yeah, yeah...second set of summer tires/wheels.

Like I said, the Pirelli's are brand new but initial impressions seems a bit sloppy. Does not have that solid center steering wheel feel anymore. Turn in's and out's feel a bit rubbery too. Possible reasons - the tire is not very 'square' or not as stiff side walls?

Default Maybe it's because you purchased A/S tires instead of actual dedicated Snow tires

A/S never really 'perform' well in the snow.

Default Let me update - I meant the A/S suck on regular pavement

And I bought A/S ultimately for the snow.

Default I have heard hit and miss reviews.... I'm going to try AVON M500 A/S this year

The reviews on Tire Rack seem to be very positive compaired to the Sumitumo HTR+ tires I was running before.

Default I think he's talking about dry performance, as it's not snowing yet. I think he needs to break in

his tires.

They were pretty positive about the Pirellis too.
