Does this seem right?
Turbo going out in my 2000 A6. To my surprise it may be covered under the 7/70 warranty plan. The dealership is being very vague about what problems with the turbos are and are not covered and are not making any promises. I dropped it off yesterday to have the extremely low power symtom diagnosed and was later told that the driver's side turbo is not putting out very much boost. The service advisor said that the regional rep wanted to examine the car before any decisions were made. Unfortunately he will be out of town for 8 more days. My car has to sit at the dealer for 8 days before a decision is made. And then there is a chance they will refuse to repair it. Is this in the realm of normal or am I about to be "jacked"?

No mods.
I spoke to someone at AoA who was pretty responsible and got the ball rolling for me after the dealership initially told me there was no way I was covered. Now they say I may be covered.

they should cover it....the dealer is probably being vague because now they can't...
mark it up and charge you a ridiculous amount. If AoA covers it, they have a pre-allocated time and dollar amount that they will give the dealer to do they job. Anything over that time/amount is the dealers responsibility....
