that seems far fetched... I know the stereo is on the bus, but my alarm and other
codings (i have remote window up/dn) have stayed and long ago got rid of the stock headunit.
You only have to worry if some dumb installer uses a harness that connects the K-wire to the battery.

Yep, cheap piece of joke
Of course, if you leave your windows cracked (not opened) it goes off, sure we can all lower the setting with a vag tool, but why should we have to?
