Does the tranny have to 'move' in front end accidents for safety reasons? Would DTS....
inhibit this movement significantly, and reduce safety? I know we've discussed this before some time ago, but I don't think any concensus was reached.

Well the tranny would have to snap the steel bar also.
The black steel bar needs to move if the tranny is going to submarine, so I'm sure the DTS and it's rubber mount would snap the same as the factory motor mounts and steel bar.

Tranny isn't bolted to the steel bar...
I think there's room for it to move around some, especially fore/aft, with the factory steel bar intact.
I have no idea if it's important or not - just wanted to point out that the factory bar isn't quite the same as the dts.

True, but the DTS has a standard rubber mount like a motor mount. If you want to talk about a little bit of movement then absoultely, that's what the DTS is designed for.
However, if we're talking the amount of force to make the engine/trans submarine, then the DTS and it's rubber mount isn't stopping it at all.
