Default Don't try this with your S4 in NY/NJ ......

Yesterday evening after work, I walked back to the parking garage (it's a big garage - at least 9/10 levels). I took the elevator back up to the 6th floor where my S4 was parked in the 1st spot right next to the elevator entrance, and what do you think I found? Through some brain cramp, I had left my driver side window open all the way. My first thought was "Oh $hit!!!".

But nothing had been disturbed inside .... not the Escort Solo or premium digital tire guage in the arm rest, not the heavy duty premium quality roadside tool kit & emergency bag I keep in the trunk, nor the $6 in change in the coin holder. I just looked up and said a quiet thankyou. What's amazing is that probably 100+ people who parked on that floor yesterday had to have walked past my car going to and from the elevators. It definitely helped me appreciate living and working in a "lower crime" part of the country.

Default Next time, don't for get to leave the key in the ignition... hell, just leave it running... ;-)

I've actually left my right back down several times. Its always a shock to return to your car and see it both, down and with nothing stolen!!

LOL, I remember doing just that years ago with an old Chevy Nova, but no one would steal it.
