EGT Sensor Code - Intermittent
Diggin the new vB format. Slapped the summers on the s4 today and on the test drive the car seemed sluggish and boost seemed to be coming on later than normal and even then power wasnt where it should be. At times it felt the car was in limp mode ESPECIALLY starting from a stop.
I have a code for charge pressure: maximum limit exceeded intermittent as well as a code for EGT sensor 2 short to ground intermittent. Could the EGT sensor be causing this problem? I have a tiptronic so Im guessing that sensor 2 is the black one (I have a black and tan and they are installed right next to each other on the passenger side) for the driver's side.
Seems like changing out the EGTs is pretty straight forward and nothing outrageously difficult. Or am I way off base thinking this?
