Hi all,

I'd be curious to know if there are any differences between the European S4 and the US S4, especially for model 2000.

I believe that I have heard that the US model has an upper speed limit around the 130 mph, but are there others.

Also, if there are differences could someone please explain why ?

Marketing only... same engine... same power... same torque... tuners confirmed this...

...but likely both numbers are a little conservative. Looked like APR got 255hp & 280 lb-ft. stock when they dyno'd their S4. Ditto what RJ said above; they're the same -- even someone at AoA said that, although I suspect the U.S. cars are missing a tad of the high end HP (like maybe 10) due to more restrictive exhaust/emissions requirements.
