FATS FAQ and please send me your FATS Data.
<a href="http://www.dcautoparts.com/awfiles/fats.htm">Click <b>HERE</b> for the FATS FAQ.
</a>
Please record your FATS data and submit it to me at: <a href="mailto:s4madman@hotmail.com?subject=FATS">s4 madman@hotmail.com</a>.
I will try to update the data every few days.
The FATS data is useful because we can:
1) Determine where the S4 stands compared to other cars
2) Determine how each S4 compares in relative terms
3) Determine if your S4 is running properly
Thank you for your help and hopefully, we can chip in and advance the S4. :-)

I think this is great for all. Definately very accessible to all owners. However...
the only problem is road conditions. What I thought was an almost non existent grade in my favorite stretch of logging road resulted in 9 tenths of a second difference in fats time uphill vs downhill. Like I said, VERY slight grade in the road and it made this much difference. I would guess that even an imperceptible grade could change things a tenth or two.
It's still great data though, can certainly tell us a lot. Maybe we should try to have people run the test in both directions on the given stretch of road? Just trying to help get the best data possible.

write down on mine stage 3 X chip (1.2-1.3 bar) AWE DPs, Twin1, SMICs, D-flo.
Simpply/REVO tuned? lol! come on, simpply doesnt even own a vag and I dont even think he knows how to use one! I suggest you change it to simpply simply wrenched and REVO tweaked on GIAC XXR hijacked code. AND WRITE DOWN HIS BOOST! madman play clean! You are very skillfully hiding information that invalidates the direct comparison of our times.
Then you can write on mine Diego tweaked on GIAC code.

Set me up for a 3.1 on 100 octane same hardware, XR (1.5 boost) 72F
and 105 to come soon!
Also, from a data analysis viewpoint, I dont think you have ANY chance of statistically nailing that last digit so take it off. Ive seen that at best, the test is good to 0.05 seconds. This is doing a minimum squared deviation analysis on the data. Imagine what kind of error your eye-balling of the graph method generates. Im not saying that everybody must do it like I do it, but for consistency and mathematical sanity, dont write things you cant possibly measure. Not flaming, all for FATS.
