I'm sensitive about LSDs at the moment...
we really need one on the Civic but it's expensive and is going to increase "push". We burn up our inside tires with wheelspin and don't get the power down like we need.
stupid Honda didn't build ANY LSD trannies which match up to our engine.
Quaife or Mugen run the better part of $1200 for that piece o s**t.

Alright so what is the difference between
A normal diff, torsen, LSD, VC?
How different to do they effect?
I'm thinking all 3 apply power to the wheel that has more resistence or the one that ain't sliping.
by the way I called and scored a date =P

congrats!
C'mon now...I don't really want to spend an hour explaining every permutation of limited slip hehehehe.
I just prefer "additive" traction control instead of "deletive" traction control and am religiously opposed to ANY application of brakes under ANY circumstances that I don't personally control.
I'm just an old fogey in that way.

I understand that... but I really want to know!!
I mean ok a diff makes 1 wheel spin in way and the other the reverse way. Comming for building RC cars I know. But what about LSD... its doing the same as allow wheels to spin in different direction but how is it different then normal diff?
