follow-up on my troubles:
I was finally able to VAG the car, I got the following codes.
16487 - mass or volume air flow circuit too high
17695 - charge pressure control positive deviation
17535/17537 - long term fuel trim multiple, bank 1/2 system too rich
From what I've read and know, I believe all due to my torn TBB. Taking a look at the boot I found that it was starting to come off...I loosened the clamp pulled it back on and tightened it, since then my CEL has turned off and my car seems to run normally, but I do still have a tear under the clamp.
I'm scheduled to bring it in on Saturday. I've swapped out the ECU and now have a stock one without codes, any ideas of what the dealer would do if they ran no codes?
TIA!

in a nutshell the dealer would say: "no codes therefore nothing is wrong with your car."
In anycase, pick up a TBB while you're at the dealer and change it when you get home or keep it as a spare.

are those special effects on the side of your car, or is it really dirty? (m)
;-)
as imolsify mentioned, no codes can be a big no-go, but drive around some more and maybe you'll be "lucky" enough to throw some codes w/ the stock ecu?
i don't know what was wrong with your car, but does it exhibit the same symptoms w/ the stock ecu?
