Default Ford Probe Fun...

So coming back from Colo. Springs yesterday and this guy and his son in his Ford Probe are behind me. The speed limit is 75 and I am doing my usual 10 over. Traffic is a bit congested but not too bad. So this guy is riding me kind of close...there really wasnt anywhere to go...until it opened up in the right lane (since most Americans dont know how to drive or have any driving etiquette they all stay in the left lane...drives me nutz!!!!) So I romp on it and leave this Probe about 20-30 car lengths behind. Then traffic hits again...and about 10 miles later it opens up to 3 lanes..I am in the middle...he romps on it and passes me...I just kind of smile and once again use the right lane technique up a hill to smoke him again about 20 car lengths...what a joke ;-) But still fun..hehe

Default Drives me crazy...I am getting so tired of it..that I am thinking of moving

to Europe...I am serious. Driving over in Europe is a entirely new and pleasent experiance. The drivers are all experianced and know the laws and general driving etiquette...they actually had to "know how to drive" before they were issued a license vs. in the US...just a bunch of "morons" on the road on their cellphone and not paying attention or dont care to what is going on around them. I wish the passing lane laws and driving license requirements in the US were much more strigent. But we all know that will never happen.

Wheres my Passport?

Default Amen to that...most US drivers are IDIOTS!!

One huge gripe I have about our society is that our culture seems to almost *thrive* on ignorance...nobody wants to know anything about anything, and that includes driving.

Default It is because PD's are STUCK on speed enforcemnet because it brings in $$$$......

God forbid they actually pull someone over for not using their turn signal, cutting someone off, or driving slowly in the left lane. The COPS around here don't even follow basic traffic laws. WTF!!?? It drives me CRAZY!!! I haven't seen a cop use a turn signal since I moved here five years ago.
Meanwhile, If I go 5mph over the speed limit on a rual 55mph highway with no traffic, I am apparently putting the country in mortal danger and deserve a ticket. Welcome to America.

Default I go nuts on the way to work. I find it hard to tailgate recently because I just got my bumper

replaced/repainted...afraid of shipping it up again ; (

Default There are many highways in the US with 75 mph limits..

I was just on route I-25 in New Mexico last week and it's 75 down there.
