funny noise on my engine .. and measurement on block 115 via Vwtool/vag
well strange enough that my 3rd column is at constant # of 1000 to 1040 while my 4th column # fluctuate between 1040 to 1200 ... my understanding is that 3rd column is the requested boost, while the 4th column is actual boost.
do you guys know what is going on with my engine?? i am using vw tools.. i should have a printout of the graph in a second. many thanks in advance to the Vag expert.
i got andy's original bypass valve will be putting it in tonight..

Actually .. it didn't sound normal at all..
sounds like a really wierd siren.... not turbo whine.... or really bad turbo whine... to me.
I've had many turbos.... never sounded like that.

Yah.... to me ... totally didn't sound normal...
it was like a police siren ... louder, more pronounced, and just didn't sound right...
I know that S4's basically sound like whistle's ... his .... I dunno.
