Bought an Abox ECU that had been recoded to be an M box. It's GIAC, has the flashloader, etc. When I put it in my car, I get the following codes:

I have ABS and ESP lights on my dash, but the car runs fine. Here's what I think happened, and someone tell me if I'm possibly wrong. The ECU was recoded to run the MAF for an M box (Hitachi), but *probably* was not recoded to deal with the new ABS/ESP stuff for the M box since it was in an A box (2000) car. So, my car will run fine, but I'll just have these codes until I get it recoded as a true M box.

I think you are correct- I think you can go M--> A but not A--> M.
