Default Got new shoes but...
There is a ding on the back lip. Is this a big deal or should I go ahead?

Default What exactly are the circumstances - If you can return them - do!
I just bought some AMG wheels for my Merc. The garage didn't tighten the bolts up on the front before I drove away - as consequence, the inner face of the wheel is damaged, the spacer is crushed, my wheel bearing is screwed and the garage want's to to sweet FA about it...

Take them back and get it swapped out!

Better having that weight when its a wheel PLUS tire, rather than the wheel itself.
