Default Had anyone had problems with their outer tie rod?

Never really hear this on Audiworld.

I would like to hear back from those that had this problem. It is basically causing the wheel and tires to shake a very little when the car if lifted up.

I was quoted $80 for this part but not sure if its true.

Default Thanks... what did you replace it with?

O.E.M part?

Also curious on what were your symptoms when your tie rod was bad?

did you a little wheel shake when the car is lifted? I noticed that my tie rod had some play. didn't think this was suppose to happen.

Default that was my first problem

I wore one of the front tires out driving 875 miles home after buying the car. The front tie rod ends were bad with around 48k on the car.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=2.7T&amp;mod el=B5%20S4&amp;submodel=Sedan&amp;category=Suspens ion">ecs suspension</a></li></ul>
