Has anybody tried simulating limp mode with lemmi to avoid boody shop joy rides?

If you don't mind a CEL, you could probably just unplug the N75.
It defaults to open wastegates so that would be permanent limp node until you plugged it back in. Pretty sure it would cause a DTC/CEL.

It may not cause a CEL...I didn't properly clamp down the hoses from the N75 when...
installing my MBC and it went into a limp mode but no CEL. I vagged and saw "Charge Pressure Max Limit Exceeded" but no CEL. Curious thing was that after a few miles it would "reset" and allow full boost...but then overshoot again from the boost leak and go back into limp. Needless to say I stopped and fixed it ASAP.
