Has anybody tried simulating limp mode with lemmi to avoid boody shop joy rides?

Thanks all for good council. Here's feedback, as read from gauges. Sorry no logs. --->
I first set SEL to 50%. WOT Result: max boost = 0.25 bar, 3500 RPM to redline, smooth performance, but required more throttle (obviously).
Then I reduced SEL to 35.3%. WOT Result: max boost = 0.00 bar, 3500 RPM to redline, smooth performance, but required yet more throttle (obviously). She now runs like my wife's Tercell.
With SEL = 25%, car stalls at take of, except with too much throttle. So I put it back to 35.3%, and dropped it off at the shop.
No warning lights at any time. Will VAG for DTCs when I get the car back.
