Default Headlight problems

I have been having trouble with my auto levelling units on my headlights. I was finally able to pull VAG codes tonight, and it seems that I have a code 01537, Vehicle Level Sensor Voltage Supply-- Short to Ground any thoughts on what I may be able to do to fix the problem? It looks like the sensor is OK, but should I try to disconnect/reconnect it? There is only the one on the driver's side, correct?

Default there's two of them.... front and rear

make sure the little plastic arms are connected to the suspension.

when you had the vag hooked up did you raise and lower your lights using the computer to make sure the motors were working?

Default no. currently I only have a VAG that can pull/clear codes

I have a ProDiag sitting on my desk, but I am having a registration issue with it.
