Heat spots on my front right rotor...
Haven't been doing that many hard stops...normal 70-0 stops here in NC. No marks on my left rotor, just on the right. Do I have bad pads??
Getting a little bit of vibration at high-speed when I tap the brakes...thinking I might need new rotors. Regardless, what would cause these spots?

It's **probably** uneven pad deposition. (m)
Depending on what kind of pads you have, even with stock rotors, going through a light break-in procedure should fix it.
Try this - 2 light stops from 60 to 5 followed by 6 hard stops from 60 to 5 and then 2 light/medium stops from 60 to 5.
DO NOT come to a complete stop, run these stops in succession with moderate acceleration and after the last stop drive around at 60 or so for 5-10 minutes to allow them to cool before using them much or stopping.
This should get the stock pads/rotor hot enough to have pad transfer. If you feel the pedel start to get mushy or the brakes start to fade (hard pedal with reduced braking ability), back off and proceed with only a few light slowdowns after that - then cool them off.
If you have aftermarket pads or rotors - contact the manufacturer for their breakin/bedding procedure.
That should get the rotors and pads hot enough to

I have done this before; it works very well on the stock pad/rotor setup. Be sure you smell pad
burning and you know you will have reached the proper temp. I tend to do a lot of city miles during the workweek, so I will do this every two months or so.

I'll try the method, but they really look like burn marks.
They are spooted marks all over the rotor. A lighter color then the rotor itself. Also, they fade REAL bad braking from 60+.
