Help - RS4 clutch install questions...
I'm preparing to do my clutch in a couple weeks.
1. is removing the pilot bearing a DIY job? If so.. what tools are needed?
2. is a clutch centering tool mandatory - or can it be eye-balled? The engine/trans will be out of the car (my kit didn't include a centering tool).
3. if I need a centering tool ... where do I get one and what do they cost?
thanks!

A1. Dead easy - unclip it with your fingers.
Q2. is a clutch centering tool mandatory - or can it be eye-balled? The engine/trans will be out of the car (my kit didn't include a centering tool).
A2. Definitely - use a tool
Q3. if I need a centering tool ... where do I get one and what do they cost?
A3. Make a makeshift tool or ask around here for someone who has a used one they can give you.
Best wishes,
Ram
