People say the car is supposed to be smoother, build boost without load, and better drivability. The only thing i really noticed was that 1st gear is much different now, I can now bring it to redline much quicker. 1st gear rips now! I guess i can't really describe it. All in all it feels like i may have lost some torque, But it is better (not faster) in some of the rpm range.<rant>

Well off the seat of my pants it feels like there was some torque missing in certain areas of the
rev range. But with all mods there are always a plus and a minus . same thing with K04's don't you lose a slight bit of power and torque at lower RPM's, But makes huge power further up the rpm ladder?

Placebo effect
The BPVs are either open or closed. The N249 can't open them part way. When they're open, boost is purged in a fraction of a second. You're imagining the changes to the powerband.

none of that is necessary without the N249 in the loop. really, the only thing needed is a single
line going from the port in the intake mani to the 'fuel rail' connection on the far right. all of the other hose and Y/T connectors in that pic is unnecessary.

boost graph of allroad2001's car. looks like dahlback is limiting boost down low to keep torque down
