Default How common is it for an AMS kevlar TBB to pop off?

I recently upgraded to the AMS kevlar wrapped one after chipping my car, even tho the stock never failed on me. And twice now the freakin AMS boot has slipped off the TB. Is this common? Would it be a bad idea to use the stock type clips, cuz i'm thinkin the clips that the AMS kit provides are too weak.

Default hairspray! hrmmm might be crazy enough to work, will report back!

As far as better clamps... Im assuming OEM ones are garbage. The AMS ones are nice but im skeptical about them. But maybe combined with the hairspray. Thanks

Default yeah fvck that POS... popped off NONSTOP on mine, and had those "revised" clamps...`

when I went back to AMS, they said it popped off because they didn't install it. So I paid them to install it correctly, and of course it popped off as soon as I went WOT...

went back and they finally admitted, "yeah, some S4s, they just don't work on."

gee, thanks for telling me that NOW.

I go with OEM now and change as needed (not often).

Might oil around the inside lip. Clean it well (hairspray) and reinstall. Should be okay.

I replaced my AMS kevlar wrapped TBB after it split at the seam with a bi-pipe.
