how hard is it to remove the engine and transmission with just 4 jack stand?

The transmission is a bitch with just jack stands. But doable.

nothing is impossible, i will do mine with jack stands,a couple rolling jacks

Yeah, I couldn't see getting enough clearance to slide it out once lowered.

Just trans? doubtful, complete engine/trans removal and pulling assembly away from front yes.

I'll bet you $1000 you can't do it with just jack stands and a couple of rolling jacks.

You better define jack stands! If they are 42" high then you will lose =)
