How impotant are the heatshields around DPs/turbo? I dont have them

Default How impotant are the heatshields around DPs/turbo? I dont have them
anymore but made sure nothing is touching it.

How useful is ceramic coating the manifolds?

Both are trivial. The ceramic coating comes off due to the heat after a short period of time.

Default Thanks, I wasnt quite sure...nice to know I dont "need" the shields..I guess they are for protection
of the wires?

I would think that anything that helps lower engine compartment temps would be beneficial

Default It's etched deep rather than painted on, so no, it should never come off...
To weld on a swaintech'd manifold, you have to grind seeminly forever...
