Are they a production based car similar to a GT1 car in ALMS where they basically just keep some of the factory subframe... or is it a full tube/box frame car with the body work being hung on?

Default Probably is nothing like an B7 car, the driver sits in what should be the back seat.

So they can push the engine back for better weight distribution. I would imagine this is about as close to an A4 as a Nascar Taurus is to a Ford.

So you think it's a tube frame car.

Default I think they are full tube frame with spec V8's and RWD...

...the fact that the driveline and engine are so controlled leads me to believe it's basically like NASCAR with more open AERO rules.

I'm betting tube frame. let me see if I can find a carnage shot where the CF bodywork is not on the car.

Default Maybe they use a quick-change solid rear axle with a J-bar too :P

Tube frame would definitely make more sense. Hopefully you can dig up some pics, that'd rock!
