there is a nail in the tire and i filled it back up but i cant even hear or feel it leaking. i was thinking about pulling the nail out and putting in a patch or is that just not very safe and should i just get a new tire. i have Toyo T1S's

Default just take it to a local tire place...

if you can't hear or feel the leaking, then maybe it's a minor leak..? just plug it up for a few bucks. happened to me a couple times.

Default good question...

unfortunately, i don't know the answer =(

but for at least temporary use, if you don't have a spare tire or the extra cash, might as well get it plugged. hopefully someone else can answer your question.

Default ouch.

i had 3 plugged gatorbacks on my 87 mustang in high school and did many runs over 110.
gatorback = suckiest tires ever.

Default there are some new "speed patches" out there, but common sense

should stop anyone from putting load on a patched tire, "speed patch" or not.

On a car like the S4 I'd only keep a patched tire as a spare
