A good friend of mine has decided to chip his S4 and called Stratmosphere to get some advice. They told him that the OCT and ABT chip are hands down the best chips on the market and bashed the competition (specifically saying MTM lies about their power and GIAC X will blow up your turbos). They then said if he is going to chip his car he MUST do a Stoptech brake upgrade as well. He told him he's definitely not going to track his car and Strat said its a must. Obviously the stock brakes are fine for the street. In addition, Strat bashed all other BPV's and praised their own Hyperboost that they sell. I feel that business practice like this is unethical and unfair. If you want to praise your own products, go right ahead. But don't put down what you don't sell. Thanks to Achtuning, AWE, Avalon, Hoppen, and the rest of you good honest companies for not going down to this level.

2. Can you tell me why I would waste my time and bash a company for no reason at all? I've actually bought a couple things from Strat (short shifter and **** and was very happy with them).

Unethical, that's debatable....but unfair? Couldn't Strat's competitors bash them just as easily?

Strat has built a fairly solid reputation, I certainly would be hesitant to lose faith in them just yet, over one post.
