I had RS4 bumper put in w/o fogs, do I need to protect the fog wiring harness from water?

Default I had RS4 bumper put in w/o fogs, do I need to protect the fog wiring harness from water?
I think I do, ROCKCENTER mentioned just wrapping the plug in connector end with electrical tape. Any other ideas or can I just leave them sitting there and not worry about water? Thanks.
