Default I have no more 2nd gear ...

driving home, all of a sudden no 2nd or 3rd; I just can't put in 2nd at all, and sometimes 3rd seems to lock up as well. Shifter felt a bit awkward this morning, but nothing too unusual, then this happens all of a sudden; suggestions/opinions appreciated.

Tranny and/or clutch just killed themselves. I'm sorry for your loss. May she go with Warranty.

Default OUCH, not the diagnosis I wanted to hear; covered under warranty, correct?!!

crossing my fingers; the last thing i need is an expensive repair bill right now; U never know what excuses theses shiesty dealers could come up with these days. But my car is under full factory warranty and basically everything is stock aside from a few minor cosmetic things...

Default They should cover it .. They covered mine, but my tranny failed the day I bought it...

It may have been my poor stick skills at the time mixed with an eagerness for speed which brought about the tranny's demise .. But what could they say? .. Who could destroy a transmission in one day?! ;-)
Just show no signs that you race it .. If you are married, have your wife bring it in and they won't ever believe she was driving it hard. (remove all doubt)

Check the nut on top of the rod linkage in the engine bay.
