I need a new clutch soon.Is it easier to remove the tranny by it self or it's easier to remove....

Default I need a new clutch soon.Is it easier to remove the tranny by it self or it's easier to remove....

remove the whole engine with the tranny for the clutch job?
I've read somewhere that it's easier to remove the engine&tranny together than just the tranny.

Easier to remove the tranny by itself. Although removing the downpipes can be a pain.

I think the thrust of that point was to do the clutch whilst in for K04 install.

Which clutch are your replacing and what are you going with? Just curious.

Default 2nd tranny by itself but you dont HAVE to take of DP's you can still drop it with out doing so....

However i did have a twin post lift and a tranny lift/jack that made the process soo much easier. if your going to do this from the ground i would recommend taking DPS out just to make ur life easier in the long run.

Yeah, he could definitely be trying to find an excuse to put K04s in.
