Default Imola Yellow Paint Session

I expect to have an Imola Yellow paint session late next week. If you have anything reasonable you'd like painted, contact me and arrange to get it here! It needs to be prep'ed for priming/painting, I don't have the time or the desire to do your sanding for you. But once the paint gun is loaded with a paint layer, it's no more trouble to coat a few more things!
Jim De Arras

Default Actually i am trying to buy a 914-6 for the track and i think that it might be a fun project to (m)

to paint the entire car. Imola yellow is the color that i want to do it in. I could drive it there when i get it and we could play for a few days.
matthew(most moderated)k

Default Rode in a 914 that someone shoe horned a Chevy 350 in...

Scariest acceleration I ever experienced. HP was around 350, and you know how light those things are. Supposedly his next atep was to redo all the suspension, claimed all the mouting points would accept 911 parts. Lost touch with this guy before the project was finished. Wicked car, though I could do without the Testarossa wannabe bodykit he put on it.

Default OK, sure! I think the body shop would let us use the paint booth, too!

Default Too expensive to cut up and put real roll cage in.

There are vehicles that are good on the track, and then there are dedicated track vehicles. If you find yourself spending a lot of time on the track, it is time to get a dedicated track vehicle so that you can put harnesses in it and a cage.
Todd W
