Default Instrument cluster went out... ??? And dealer wants ridiculous price for a new one. Went on
eBay Germany and found a '99 S4.. German part #8D0 920 980 D. Will this work in my '01.5??

I did a google on that part # and got next to nothing.. ?? Please advise.. Thanks.

Default Well, your 01.5 has an ESP indicator on the IP...
a 99 probably doesn't. So there is at least one difference between the clusters. Might still work...I don't know. I wouldn't buy it unless you've found someone else successfully did it first.

Default my went and the dealer replace it under warrant..cost about $600 for the parts
when the show me the invoice

Other item of note.... doesn't it also hold the mileage that the previous car would have had?
