Saw tech. changing plugs at dealer, did not look too bad. He removed:
Air filter box top, MAP, plastic covers on cylinder heads both sides, expansion tank with hoses intact and interestingly, both hoses going to the TBB. Did not have a chance to ask why he needed to do the last one.
Hope it could be of use to you - or may be you have already found a better way

BTW, how did you eventually refabricate the alternator mount? Sorry I was off and on reading the board and missed the thread.

Thanks, I have not changed them, yet!
And it was the power steering mount, I have repaired it with JB Weld and four socket head screws threaded and tapped into the fractured pieces, 2 per side. Holding fine, so far. With the third mount intact, and the belt pulling down, there is no stress on the fracture, anyway.
