jline wheels - forged, lip, inexpensive - any good?

Forgive the n00b questions. Flat lip = reverse lip, right? ...
...Also, does that mean that the step lip would be the better way to go? I *think* this is a picture of one with a step lip:

You also mentioned there are better options out there. Personally I don't care about weight. But durability is a concern (why i was looking at forged), yet price is too (why i haven't ponied up for the angstroms), as is looks. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. (and yes, I have seen sanders site, it rocks)
