Default Just got my car back from a brand new rs4 clutch and flywheel, tranny feels werid now.(ideas?)

So i just picked up my car today after i had a brand new rs4 clutch installed, aswell as a brand new stock flywheel. Now, my gears seem to be a little more rough, but seems to be getting better the mi i get on it. But here is my real concern, when shifting from 5th to 6th, i get a weird ever so slighty grind, like maybe the clutch isnt disengaging correctly, and causing the grind. Its not like a loud full on grind like weve all heard when missing a gear/synrho problem, but a just a ever so slight quick grind. I have search on here, and it seems others have had similair things happen when they had new clutchs/flywheels installed. Does anyone have any ideas of what wrong or anything? Im hoping the more i drive it will go away. Any ideas?

Default Does your shift lever sit off tilt, or does it sit pretty much the same? You could double check the

basic shifter adjustments...(the two 6mm hex bolts) for starters. If your issue is only associated with a specific gear change I would think it would either be the synchro joining those gears or a mis-aligned shifter. Given the fact that the 5-6 synchro is very uncommon to have issues (from what I understand) hopefully its a simple shifter adjustment.

Default Yeah, ive played with the alignment, it may need more though. Any other ideas?

I agree, 5th/6th synchro is uncommon, so im glad about that. Im hoping the brand new clutch/flywheel just need some mi on them and will striaghten out.

Default When you say you have played with alignment have you actually tried side to side adjustment, not jus

t moving the lever forwards and backwards, then tightening it?. I just figured I would clarify. Have you loosened the lower of the two hex bolts and physically moved the shift **** left or right prior to tightening?
