Default lookin at...
gettin the x chip tomorrow for my 2000 s4...just needed to know if i need to disconnect my battery before removing the ecu or if i can just take the ecu out without diconnecting the battery..how much boost (psi) should i be expecting as to where if i was stock...TIA

Default Nope, leave it connected.
When I first put my X in, I saw spikes of 23 psi!!! Put an MBC in and now nothing over 17 or 18 ever. Car runs good. I think stock is around 9.

Safer to disconnect the battery and ground yourself.

Default No serious. Ground yourself, I know a person who actually shorted his ECU.
All you need to do is touch something metal, it's easy. :-)
