M3=lunch's post about having his MAF unplugged for months really has me thinking. Pleae explain.
How can a car run properly with a TCD and no MAF sensor plugged in when it is on k03 softare, k04 turbos, and bigger than stock injectors? If it's not running off the MAP/MAF sensors, what is it running off of? I'm totally confused. What am I missing here?

My car goes mega rich when I unplug the MAF, I assume I could
pull some fuel and attempt to tune it for that setup.
I'm assumming his car is faster this way or he wouldn't be running that way.
What are the drawbacks ?

Meaning he isnt faster, dont know why 3rd gears pulls so well
but on the track even with me driving his car I could not get better then a 13sec 1/4. I dont know why he runs without a maf I have a perfectly good one sitting here, that he can barrow
