Default MAF sensor maintenence - It seems that these MAF fail
often, and I came across this FAQ.

Default Interesting. That looks just like our MAF's too
I have my old one sitting around. Maybe I should try it and swap out the new one and see if it works.

Default Please keep me posted. I figure if they aren't replaced by 50k (at 30k now)
then it's something I'll consider for ~$400 plus installation

I wouldn't touch the guts of a MAF with a 10' pair of tweezers. Very delicate! Very expensive!

well, if they are failing anyway...what do you have to lose? besides ~$400+

If it's still in warranty I wouldn't mess with it otherwise I guess it's your nickle anyway.

Default I won't try this DIY job until I'm out of warranty - but at this rate
it's only 9months away.
