Default I think the key here is...

$1800 for a pretty nice brake system for the track.

Default More info....

They are real Porsche rotors. The holes are cast in, not drilled--no stress cracks, excellent for the track. This seems like the $3500 Movit kit for 1/2 price.

Thoughts?

I've never heard any complaints from my Porsche friends when they autocross.

Default Pay more for cast in holes?

Personally, I think it sounds like cute marketing. Have they had problems of drilled rotors comming apart? If so, this might be worth it, but honestly it sounds like they're just looking for a gimmick.

Default the problem is heat dissipation so...

there are a few ways to deal with it:

1. more rotor area
2. better airflow to calipers
3. better airflow through rotors
4. better caliper design

this thing would address #3. don't know if that would be good enough or not.
