Default My Audi dealer's service is the best!

They made some potentially expensive repair costs 'vanish'.

First, they ripped up part of my car looking for some weird noise that turned out to be my gf's lip stick that worked its way into the hvac vent under the driver's seat and then put it back together no charge. Several hours of labor that I didn't have to pay for that they could have charged me for.

Second, they replaced my windshield washer fluid pump free of charge. This is a costly little part that appeared to have been damaged due to extreme stress. The housing had an inch long crack from the top down and the internals were all out of whack and twisted. The dealer has seen failed pumps, but never really this bad. Of course since the entire system was replaced once they replaced it under warranty. I felt no need to volunteer that the crack occurred the day the suspension was installed and that a BFH was pounding on the control arm and suspension bits right where this part is located.

A potentially costly repair bill averted. I will arrange for pizza and drinks (non alcoholic of course, other guys wouldn't want drunk techs) for the guys as a token of thanks. I won't give out the dealer's name here (if AoA is reading I don't want the dealer to get in trouble) but those who know me know where I take my car.

This whole experience almost makes me forget about the insanely annoying rock in my driver's seat.

Was that why (past pizza and drinks) they worked so hard to fix your car?

Default No...

My driver's seat has been rocking since I bought it and it has been in five times for that now. I am listed as a 'heater' because of this. Nasa is as well actually. Any repeat business for the same repair is categorized this way at the dealer. In addtion to this, the dealership is relatively small and I know nearly everbody there (salesguys, owners, service advisors).

Oh yeah, I'm also dating someone who works there (this always helps).

Default No, I think not, but...

Sometimes 'discount' Audi parts come my way. BlownS4 knows what I'm talking about.
