Default my first battle scar...

Well, yesterday, while performing a "controlled" four-wheel drift I hit a curb (kumho's are not all that great in the rain), trashed the front left wheel, lower control arm bent pretty badly.

Hopefully nothing else is damaged, although it seems that the wheel hit the back of the fender and the plastic shield is gone on the rear of the fenderwell.

Looking for sympathy...

Default Guess it wasn't a "controlled" four-wheel drift then!

Sorry to hear about the damage ... that sucks. :-/

Default similar thing happened to my baby last year

I was all-wheel-drifting down this long winding commerical driveway in fresh snow, and I didn't realize that there was an itty bitty curb on the right side, because somehow it was covered with snow at almost the same level as the road. Anyway I kinda tapped into it and ended up getting a curb rash on both right wheels. I was able to clean them up with a dremel and now they don't look too bad. Sorry to hear about your damage

Default Hehe, I had a brief conversation with a curb last year doing a "controled" drift in the snow...

I was braving it on Blowtenzas, mind you. Ran up on the curb ( front passanger side took the hit) and half-way up the small hill it enclosed and ended up facing the opposite direction. Managed to back down onto the road. Fortunately no damage, but my car has been pulling slightly to the right ever since. I'll get to the dealer one of these days.
