so i take my s4 in for 24000 check up(2000 imola). i had a few problems here and there(radio noise, sunroof creak, chair creak, click when i shift) two hours later the service man comes out and asks me when i go back to school. i said 6 weeks(quarter system). he says that after i took the mechanic out to have him listen to to the squeeks and what-not. he dropped me off and took the car for another spin. when he went back out, 1st and 2nd gear stopped working. STOPPED! i went out and even checked myself. sure enough, the **** refused to get into the 1st and 2nd gates. now they're going to replace whatever's fixed, under warranty of course. i was then worried about a car for the rest of my xmas vacation, but they shot back with a "you have a loaner for the time your car is here." i thought that kicked all ***! so now i have a 2002 A6 3.0

sure, the S4 is a pain in the *** and seems to be a lemon at times, but thank god i have a sweet dealer. i suggest CONTINENTAL AUDI IN NAPERVILLE to everyone. i still drive 40 minutes for an oil change. i still love my S though.
