Default my proactive xenon theft solution....beats among others, the hiding in the bushes (no pun)

I'd guess that most folks know 'bout the theft-prone xenons and was wondering you opine on my preventive/deterrent setup...I'm thinking of making some more, pretty cheap, depend on how many I make....BTW lights are now afix'd to subframe, not those ****y plastic clips

I stuck this little douzy in the bumper; read the descript, esp the part about possible blank loads

HV-5 12 GAUGE ALARM
THIS UNIT WHICH IS MADE OF AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM THAT UTILIZES A SPRING LOADED FIRING MECHANISM AND A TRIP TRIGGER. WHEN LOADED WITH A 12 GAUGE BLANK, AND THE TRIGGER IS DISTURBED THE UNIT WILL DISCHARGE. THIS DEVICE CAN BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 12 GAUGE WHISTLE CARTRIDGES, 12 GAUGE FLARES AND 12 GAUGE PEPPER GAS DEPENDING ON ONES SITUATION AND REQUIREMENTS.

although unproven, I hope the first presents a visual deterrence to would-be light thieves

while the 2nd...a 12g blank w/ pepper gas should speak volumes for itself...hey, its just an idea....

Default 12g shell spec's

12 GAUGE PEPPER GAS
THIS CARTRIDGE PRODUCES A CONE SHAPED BLAST OF OC POWDER APPROXIMATELY 8 FEET IN DIAMETER AT 25 FEET. THIS CARTRIDGE USES THE SAME POWDER AS THE ISRAELI RIOT CONTROL GRENADES. IDEALLY SUITED FOR USE IN THE HV-5 ALARM SYSTEM DESCRIBED IN THIS CATALOG OR IN ANY SHOTGUN. RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE AS THE POWDER CAN BECOME IMBEDDED IN CARPET AND FURNITURE. ITS PRACTICAL USE WOULD BE FOR RIOT CONTROL WHERE LESS THAN LETHAL FORCE IS NECESSARY. OVERALL CARTRIDGE LENTH IS 2-3/4".

Default Get the headlamp washers to spray pepper spray when the lights come out

Point them the wrong way and put pepper spray in the tank . That would be about eye level when someone was bending down to yank out the lights!
